Serves the basic purpose. Remote works but device does not offer the 3 different modes it advertises. Only one level of lighting and it’s not all that bright.

United StatesToo heavy for the adhesive
Very disappointed. I was going to put this over my kitchen sink. The 3M adhesive patch, while large enough, is NOT strong enough to hold this product. Even when I removed the heavy half and let the adhesive bond to the surface for 30 seconds, it still kept falling down. Annoyed and will be returning so I can get my hard-earned money back. Buy something else!

Fresh out of the box and the remote doesn’t work. Sent email to customer service and nobody ever responded. It’s been well over a week. No phone number to call. Poor customer service. I would not buy this product again. Purchase from a reputable company not Sensor Brite.

United StatesHow to remove install plate
I haven't tried these yet but my mother found a few in clearance snd couldn't install either. When I looked at it the back is labeled wrong when it says open close you must do the opposite. Turning right closes left opens. It was really hard still the first time, but I stuck an Allen wrench in the mounting hole and turned it to the left "close" the mounting plate came off and is now easy to put on and off .

I bought this at Home Depot, I see quite a few bad reviews, but mine works fine and I am quite satisfied with it. I have it in a closet. I was going to have an electrician put in a light and switch...now I don't have to. I guess I got lucky. I wish it would charge faster, though.

As a lot of people have mentioned in reviews here and elsewhere they couldn’t remove the backing plate and I can’t remove it either. When I read reviews where people were complaining about that quite frankly I just thought that was ridiculous. They must be idiots. But they’re right. Why would a company design a product that you can’t remove the back on. It’s necessary too. There’s no work around. The idea is the back plate is adhered to a surface with the sticky side. So to recharge this you have to be able to remove the part that gets recharged. Too bad. I was going to use it under my sink in the kitchen. But this will be returned.
