This seemed like the perfect motion activated light for my stairway so I bought 3. First obstacle was getting it out of the package. Not happy that the wall can be damaged from the mounting tap and I do not want to put screws into the wall. Two of the lights are going back. I cannot return the third because the package was destroyed trying to open.

I installed 2 lights last week in my mom's hallway. She loves how they work. The only suggestion is a motion sensor that doesn't detect small pets.

I liked the UpDown Battery Lights, and love the Charging ones I just bought! They work wonderfully in my pantry and closets, and no batteries to worry about! Would definitely recommend.

Power shortage
I started using this product during the 11 day power shortage after hurricane Ida. I found that I like them so much in the restrooms, I’m still using them!

I bought this for our hallway upstairs
I bought this for our hallway upstairs where the bedrooms are. If we should have to get up in the middle of the night there is no light there. This light was perfect for the hallway because it lights up the whole hall, and it comes on as soon as it detects movement.
